265, Yi Nan Ge, Alibaba and KSRM: how do the names and symbols fit together?
How do 265 and Yi Nan Ge connect with KSRM? One of the clearest clues sits in the club's own public biography. Three lines about brotherhood: read across for loyalty, down for a name, and along the final digits for 265.
The account is ksrm.malaysia_265. Its display name is 马来西亚青年体育商会俱乐部. Around the circular emblem are the words Kelab Sukan dan Rekreasi Malaysia. That Malay name gives KSRM its initials.
Now read the original biography:
義氣忠心結兄弟② 南北兄弟一家親⑥ 閣內忠臣扶山河⑤
The first characters spell “義南閣”. The final digits spell 265.
A name, a number and the club emblem share one public calling card. No invented code-breaking story is needed to explain that connection.
The Bandar Putra local account uses a similar arrangement. An archived post dated 31 March 2025 also places 義南阁 beside club hashtags. “義南閣”, “義南阁” and “义南阁” are character variants. Changing the script does not conjure up extra organisations.
Where, then, does Alibaba enter the story?
The correspondence retained in this project's material is that 265, Yi Nan Ge and Alibaba are different names for the same gang. Alibaba appears more often in references and allegations about that network; KSRM appears as a public club name. The question is how the two connect.
On 11 July 2024, Telegram channel @Sg265alibaba published a personnel graphic headed “GENG 265 ALIBABA”. Dato Ben and Fam Chee Way occupy the same person's entry, alongside labels including “Bos geng 265” and “Bos Alibaba Pasaran Hitam”. Elsewhere appears “Yinange 265”.
The number, a rendering of the Chinese name and Alibaba were placed in one narrative by the graphic's own author.
But this graphic is allegation material from a third-party channel. “Boss” and “diplomacy” are roles assigned by that channel. Reposting does not certify it, much less turn it into an organisational chart issued by KSRM.
Beyond the names, there is a specific person connecting the material.
In a birthday post on 22 October 2025, the club called 范志伟, Fam Chee Way, “our club's founder”. Later event reporting used “national founder”. The same full name appears as a founder in club material and under 265/Alibaba role labels in the channel's graphic.
That is a personal overlap with identifiable sources. It is not a licence to take everyone in a group photograph and put them on the same relationship line.
A person's public club role does not automatically substantiate the channel's allegations. Nor can allegations against him be handed wholesale to everyone attending KSRM activities. Responsibility attaches to specific conduct. It is not a parcel delivered with a name.
KSRM's public identity also has a registration lead.
Earlier research preserved a Registrar of Societies query as of 11 September 2026: KELAB SUKAN DAN REKREASI MALAYSIA, Johor, AKTIF, category REKREASI / REKREASI AM. Although its public Chinese name includes 商会, or chamber of commerce, the query lists general recreation. The registration category cannot be rewritten by interpreting the Chinese name.
The displayed row had neither a full registration number nor an office-bearer list. The available material also contains no formal document announcing that “265 became KSRM” or that “Alibaba is KSRM's registered name”.
There are public branding connections and personal overlaps. A personnel graphic cannot stand in for the missing page of legal history.
One old number is particularly capable of sending the story off course.
In China Press's 2023 list, “义南阁(Gee Nam Kor)” appears after 21. That is the list position, not an additional name, “Geng 21”. Read a list number as a gang number and the entire account of its origins can go wrong.
Earlier records also contain Gee Lam Kor, Gee Nam Kor and Geng Gee Lam Kok. Similar sounds do not supply a complete history of foundation and renaming. The available material does not explain where Alibaba first came from either. Nor does it connect this name with the e-commerce company Alibaba Group.
The contrast lies between these names. The club's public calling card presents sport, association life and brotherhood slogans. The third-party channel's graphic presents allegations about gang and business roles. Connections exist between the two; connections do not remove the need for evidence.
A biography can be read vertically. Responsibility cannot simply be passed down through the names.
Do not count a few aliases as several organisations. And do not reduce a few connections to an equals sign.
